UPDATE (MONDAY, 3:00 p.m.)-  According to Klass Kids, a prayer service is being held Monday night for missing Naomi Jones at 6 o’clock. The prayer service will be held at Olive Baptist Church (the main site) located at 1836 E Olive Rd, Pensacola, FL 32514. UPDATE (MONDAY, 12:45 p.m.) – Law enforcement established a checkpoint Monday afternoon outside the apartment complex of Naomi Jone’s mother. The checkpoint is on East Johnson Blvd outside the Aspen Village Apartments . 12-year-old Naomi Jones has been missing from her Pensacola home since last week. Officers tell News 5 that the checkpoint is being used to check vehicles and hand out flyers of the missing girl. If you have any information about Jones, please call 9-1-1. During a public hearing at the Spanish Fort Planning Commission meeting Monday night , subdivision residents living adjacent to the proposed Quail Hollow development said they were worried the additional traffic flowing from the planned 147 condominium units would significantly worsen already congested conditions on Alabama Highway 225. (Mike Kittrell/mkittrell@al.com) With their options limited by a rezoning decision made in 2004, the Spanish Fort Planning Commission voted Monday night to allow Spanish Fort Apartment 2012 LLC owners to move ahead with a planned unit development called Quail Hollow on the west side of Alabama Highway 225 in the city. J.R. Smith, who is the city council representative on the planning commission , cast the only no vote. Tuesday was move-in day at Everly on the Loop — the pricey new high-rise on Delmar targeting students at Washington University and other nearby colleges . Complementary sushi from United Provisions and Insomnia cookies were just the start of amenities that greeted new residents. Around 250 people were moving into their furnished apartments. Seventy-five more will join them next Monday, just a week before for classes start at Wash U.
