1 injured in shooting after argument at Virginia Beach apartment complex, police say | Courts & Crime

VIRGINIA BEACH

Police plan to press charges against a person accused of injuring another person at an apartment in Virginia Beach.

Two people had been had been arguing in the parking lot of the Linkhorn Bay Apartments complex at 1201 Waterfront Dr., Virginia Beach police officials said in a written statement. The pair moved inside a home, where one of them reportedly shot the other once. 

Emergency responders were summoned to the home about 2:30 p.m.

The injury isn't life-threatening. 

No other details were available immediately as of Saturday afternoon.
