1 injured in shooting during fight at Virginia Beach apartment complex


VIRGINIA BEACH — A person is expected to survive after they were shot during a fight in a Virginia Beach apartment on Saturday.

Police arrived at Linkhorn Bay Apartments around 2:30 p.m. where the found someone shot and suffering a minor injury, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.

Charges are pending against another person, who police believe shot the victim after the pair started fighting in the parking lot of the apartment complex. The fight moved into an apartment, which is where the shooter pulled the trigger, according to the VBPD.
