2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Schedule

@kenroczen94 Video by Mike Emery After enduring what’s been the biggest injury and story of the 2017 season ( CLICK HERE FOR THOSE UPDATES ), Ken Roczen is finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel and back at it. He recently got the full doctors approval to get on a bike and spin some laps toward eventually making a return to racing when ready. We paid a visit to the Team Honda HRC rider ’s house earlier this week and joined him for his first laps back after his final surgery to his left arm, which was for the removal of the last remaining metal and screws. This is a huge update in the positive direction, and we sat down with him after his first day back to hear how it felt. Ken Roczen fans , rejoice! *Disclaimer: Yes, we know you want more riding footage. Out of respect for his team’s wishes, he was to ride without cameras for his first few laps back. We did sneak in one clip, though! Want to hear more from Ken Roczen? Have a read through on this interview below that Team H...

Pinebrook West Apartments - Apartments - 4001 Nicolet Ave, Fremont, CA

Image
6/3/2015 I would give this place no star but not available. I lived at Pinebrook West Apartments for over 10 years but management got worse and worse. The current management is Sridhar Equities located in San Jose but with a manager on the property as well. Do not rent here!!!!! The apartment is over 50 years old and management only does the minimum so as to avoid city fines . There is always something breaking and management only fixes it if u pay for a repair. We had our bathroom door jammed for 2 years before they fixed it and only then cuz City of Fremont was visiting all the units. Any repair issues with the property manager falls on deaf ears and he reminds u to call the office in San Jose. The people in the main office never return calls and can care less about u. There's no security cameras or any surveillance so cars get break in's all the time. Save a headache and rent somewhere else.

BCA: Blood DNA shows match in Itasca County beheading trial

Investigators found dozens of bloodstains and bloody objects — including a machete and a knife — during a June 2016 search of Joseph Christen Thoresen and Kayleene Danielle Greniger 's apartment. A forensic scientist with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension testified that DNA from the machete blade and a bloodstain on the couple's closet door came from David Haiman, whose decapitated body was found in a remote area north of Ball Club in rural Itasca County last summer. Thoresen, 36, is charged with first- degree premeditated murder , first-degree murder while committing kidnapping, intentional second-degree murder and unintentional second-degree murder while committing second-degree assault. Greniger — who has given a variety of accounts describing the killing — pleaded guilty in February to second-degree murder while committing second-degree assault. On the opening day of Thoresen's trial, Greniger told jurors that Thoresen and Haiman had forced her to par...

We didn’t miss the extra space and we loved ditching our mortgage. In the process, we found ourselves firmly on the path to living more sustainably. We were fortunate enough to have a friend invite us to live on a corner of her property in the Blue Ridge Mountains . Zoning doesn’t permit a second foundation-built house on the property, so we designed our 250-square-foot house to be built on a 24-foot trailer. Since we have...

Shooting reported at Vista apartment complex

VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - Deputies are investigating an early morning shooting at a Vista apartment complex that damaged vehicles, shattered windows and prompted a search for two suspected shooters. Deputies responded to reports of shots fired just before 2 a.m. at the Pepperwood Vista Apartments in the 2100 block of University Drive. Upon arrival, deputies found an upstairs unit "peppered with multiple handgun rounds " and several vehicles in a nearby parking lot struck by bullets. Deputies recovered several shell casings but could not locate the firearms used in the incident. Deputies said an argument might have prompted an unidentified person to fire shots into an apartment unit. In response, a black woman -- who witnesses said had two children with her -- came out of an apartment and fired several shots, hitting vehicles in the parking lot. Witnesses said the woman and the two children did not appear to be injured and left the scene. Deputies are still searching for the ...

Saratoga Springs gun show pulls Adolf Hitler items

This year's gun show at the Saratoga Springs City Center is in the spotlight yet again. A desk, chair and valet taken from Adolf Hitler's apartment were to be displayed at the event next weekend before an auction in Ohio, until organizers heard concerns from residents. After speaking with city leaders, organizers pulled the items from the show.  The controversy comes less than two weeks after violence erupted at a neo-Nazi march in Virginia. David Petronis, the show's co-organizer, felt it wouldn't do any harm.  "We were going to set a mannequin on a Nazi flag sitting on top of the desk with a US flag draped over him, and put a dagger through the swastika with the words 'end of Nazism,' " said Petronis.  Saratoga Springs Mayor Joanne Yepsen , along with residents, felt the display was not needed.  "To bring in something that has to do with Hitler and the ugly past is just not welcome here in our city," said Yepsen. "This is a welcomin...

No charges after boy, 3, fatally shot by 10-year-old

Image
Stock photo YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP , Mich. (AP) - Prosecutors say no charges will be brought after a 3-year-old boy was fatally shot last year by a 10-year-old boy at an apartment complex in southeastern Michigan. The Ann Arbor News reports Washtenaw County prosecutors determined they couldn't establish intent for charges against the boy who shot Jamari L. Moore in Ypsilanti Township . Investigators earlier described the Nov. 13 shooting as an accident. The newspaper says the gun's owner also won't face charges. Prosecutors determined they couldn't prove gross negligence for a charge of involuntary manslaughter. Police found the child shot after being called to Country Meadows Apartments , where Jamari was staying at the apartment of his mother's boyfriend. Documents show the 10-year-old likely found the loaded handgun on a shelf in a bedroom where the boys were watching TV. Copyright 2017 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
