Man shot and killed outside apartment near Bonanza and Pecos

LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) — 

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says a man was shot and killed Tuesday night at the Playa Vista Apartments near North Pecos and East Bonanza roads.

The victim was identified Friday as 28-year-old Justin Martin. No residence was available for Martin. He was shot multiple times and his death was ruled a homicide by the Clark County coroner.

Officers say Martin arrived at the apartment with a woman who lived at the apartment.

According to police, the woman went inside her apartment and Martin stood outside. A confrontation took place between him and someone else.

Witnesses say they heard several shots, and Martin was killed.

Police say a suspect is still on loose.
