Politics are center stage at MTV Video Music Awards

Christopher Javier Cobb has pled guilty to Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature, according to Marcia Baker with the Solicitor’s Office.

He was charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. He, and three others, were charged in the shooting death of Chiquita Johnson at Highland Square Apartments in December 2012.

Baker says the sentence is deferred until the co-defendants are taken care of in the next 3 months.
