Charlotte’s biggest source of funding for affordable housing projects could soon run dry, as a City Council committee voted Wednesday to move forward with its biggest-ever round of new projects. It’s the latest step in the city’s push to create or preserve 5, 000 affordable housing units over three years, a goal City Council voted to adopt in the wake of the Keith Scott shooting and subsequent unrest last year. City staff said Wednesday that the city is almost halfway to that goal, though the total includes rehabilitated residences and down payment assistance for homebuyers, in addition to brand-new affordable units . 8 601 Main St SE Minneapolis , MN 55414 (612) 331-8100 Living at Stone Arch was really fun. The apartments themselves are just below high end but the location is astounding it wasn't a big deal. Hallways are spacious and the interior design has a creative art based minimalistic feel . Sure we heard people upstairs and the floors hurt my feet while walking without shoes. Management is Solid here but they do have much to deal with so I don't expect an Oscar worthy performance every time I go to the office. A nice cozy tucked away albeit next to the Steel Shop which can get noisy at night but all in all a very vibrant place to live with Tremendous views of Minneapolis and easy access to stone arch bridge . I miss being here and walking to Hennepin Avenue at NIGHT while intoxicated (Honey, Bulldog, New Bohemia Etc) I now live in the North Loop and realize that Stone Arch Apt might be in the best location in the entire city.
