Red Bluff >> A series of vandalism incidents from Monday, the majority of which took place in the area of James and Reeds avenues, are under investigation by the Red Bluff Police Department , which is seeking information from the public. A total of 11 incidents in the vicinity are believed to be connected, said Red Bluff Police Cpl . Ruben Murgia. CHESTERFIELD COUNTY , Va. --- A man is facing charges after opening fire inside a Chesterfield apartment complex . Officers arrested Yeison Medina -Cruz in connection with the incident. He has been charged with reckless handling of a firearm, but additional charges are being considered. Officers responded to reports of a shots fired in the 7500 block of Bannockbarn Drive in the Chesterfield Village Apartment complex off  Midlothian Turnpike near Chippenham Parkway around 1:20 am Saturday morning. Witnesses reporting hearing gunshots inside the complex, responding officers also heard shots upon arrival. Based on the nature of the call, the Police SWAT and negotiation teams responded to the scene. WESTLAKE, Ohio -- A North Ridgeville firefighter suffered minor injuries during an early-Thursday fire that displaced residents of a Westlake apartment complex . Debris fell and hit the firefighter in the head. He was taken to a hospital for treatment but has since been released, according to the North Ridgeville Fire Department . No one else was injured in the fire that broke out just before 4 a.m. at the Barrington Place Apartments on Detroit Road. Twelve residents were taken to the Westlake Recreation Center for shelter. Firefighters from multiple departments arrived at the complex and found the attic engulfed in flames. It took several hours to knock down the fire, which caused significant damage to the building. The case is about computer search warrants , and specifically whether they can authorize a seizure of all devices that investigators discover that might contain the evidence sought. The frustrating part of the opinion is that there are a few different ways to interpret it, and I’m not sure which way is right. WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police have arrested a man they say was known around the town of Wallingford as a heroin supplier. At approximately 9:00 a.m. today, Wallingford Police took Harvey Jennings into custody after receiving information that he would be arriving at Southwind Apartments at 181 Southwind Drive with the intent to sell heroin. Detectives witnessed Jennings arrive at the apartment complex and meet up with a potential buyer. As the transaction was taking place, detectives approached Jennings and made an arrest. A bag containing one hundred forty bags of heroin and ten xanax pills was found on Jennings, along with approximately six hundred dollars in cash. An additional eighty bags of heroin were found in his vehicle. Jennings, a 25-year-old of Wallingford, was charged with sale of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics, and possession of a controlled substance. For Douglas, which invests in properties in Los Angeles and Honolulu, the deal significantly expands the company’s multifamily footprint in the latter of those markets, according to the company's Dec. 30 announcement. The property, Waena Apartments, is close to downtown Honolulu and comprises 24 buildings. The apartment complex recently received a $22 million renovation that included a new solar electric system and new community center. The seller is San Francisco, California- based Carmel Partners Inc., which invests in multifamily properties in Hawaii and across the U.S. lower 48 states. RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. -- Riviera Beach Police have charged a man with setting a fire in an apartment complex on Friday. Police received an emergency call reporting a domestic dispute at Stonybrook Apartments located at 1555 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr . Boulevard at approximately 5:43 p.m. Additional callers reported there was a structure fire at the same location. Responding officers, firefighters from Riviera Beach Fire Rescue , and concerned people at the scene were able to safely rescue three children, including an infant, a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old, from the burning apartment. An 18-year-old in Alexandria, Virginia, is accused of trying to rob someone on a bike trail and then grabbing a woman in an apartment building nearby .  Joshua Sprinkle, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with attempted robbery, attempted abduction and sexual battery.
